We had a lovely family stay at Le Grande Bali, and everyone, from my elderly parents to the young children, had a great time. The staff were welcoming and helpful, from the front office to the bellboys. Restaurant service was impressive, breakfast had plenty of choice, and room service was quick. Greenery around the resort makes for a beautiful setting, and its location within the new Kora Golf Course gives the surroundings a refreshing feel. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms clean, and comfort and cleanliness were maintained during our visit. The rooms do look a little dated, though upgrades are underway, which is reassuring. One small thing to watch for: the pool surface can feel coarse, so pool shoes are a good idea. We really enjoyed the trip and would gladly return. I recommend Le Grande Bali for families.

We felt safe and relaxed here, and the beds were really comfortable. There was plenty of hot water in the shower, too. The cappuccinos were delicious, and everyone working here was friendly and smiling, whether at reception or in the restaurant. The hotel is a bit worn in places and isn’t a new designer boutique property, but that didn’t matter to us. If you want privacy, peace, and an easygoing atmosphere, this place fits. If you’re after modern designer luxury, it doesn’t. Thanks, le grande, we’ll be back!

Kris at reception made my stay at Le Grande Uluwatu feel personal. He was warm and professional, remembered my name, and kept checking that everything was okay. The hotel is comfortable and well located, but his attentive service was what stood out most. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, which is why I gave this hotel 2 stars, but I can’t make sense of most of its ratings. The photos don’t match what we found. The rooms and hotel are very dated, and calling it 5-star feels exaggerated. At best, I’d say 3-star. There were broken cupboards, a smelly shower, and many things seemed to have been patched or painted over without lasting repairs. Breakfast was included but only average. When we arrived there were no beach towels; I asked three different staff members and still got none. For the price, there are better places to stay in the area.

I had a fantastic five days at the Grande Bali Hotel. The pool looked stunning, breakfast was delicious, and everything was spotless. I’d recommend the place and would absolutely return. The staff made the biggest impression. They were genuinely kind and welcoming, with warm smiles and thoughtful attention every day. Reception was always ready to help. When I hurt my toe, they even had a Band-Aid on hand, which really impressed me.
