Matahari Tulamben Resort, Dive & SPA

This is a professional dive resort in Tulamben. The staff were very responsive, and there’s a convenient package that includes dives, a room, meals, and airport transportation. My room was large and clean, though a little old, which was okay with me.

We ate here every day. There’s a wide choice of food, served with flair, and the coffee’s great too. Highly recommended.

We came for the diving, and Matahari Tulamben Resort & Dive made it easy to get out to both USAT Liberty and Boga Wreck. The shore dives at Liberty Wreck are iconic, and the deeper Boga Wreck was worth exploring too. Both have lovely marine life, and being accessible from shore makes the dives convenient. The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic, and the whole process, from setting up gear to safety briefings, was well organized. The resort itself has a peaceful, homey feel, with warm, attentive service from the dive crew and restaurant staff. After a long dive, we enjoyed the fresh, hot food, with a good selection of local and western dishes. Whether you’re here to dive or unwind, it’s a nice mix of a relaxed setting, good meals, and well-run dives. I’d put it at 4.7/5. A must-visit for divers in Bali, with quality shore dives and friendly, professional service.

This was a fantastic island experience on one of Indonesia’s Serebu islands, close to Jakarta. The island is peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views of clean, white sand beaches. You can take a shared boat ride, snorkel, see a variety of fish, or go deep diving. The large breakfast is free, and walking along the white sand beach felt out of this world. A must-visit place in Indonesia.
