Pondok Sawah Asri

It’s a little way from the centre, which worked well for me because it was quiet. The villa was private, comfortable, and very clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They can provide a gluten-free breakfast, which matters for people with celiac disease.

The family made us feel special from the moment Wayan, Asri, Wayan Jr and Made welcomed us. Made prepared breakfasts we looked forward to each morning, and also helped with scooter rental, laundry, and any information we needed. We could order food to the villa, arrange a massage at the door, and have laundry done there too. Pondok Sawah Asri was one of my biggest highlights in Bali. It was peaceful and clean, and the villa was even better than the photos. The lovely pool was refreshing, with chairs where we could relax afterward. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and spas nearby, and Ubud center is only about a 20-minute walk away. Wayan and his family gave excellent service. We had an amazing stay and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

The hosts can arrange luggage pickup and drop-off from the parking area, about 500m away. They were kind and quick to help with any requests, though everything was so well taken care of that we hardly needed to ask. The villa felt peaceful and private, and it’s very close to ubud centre. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and even more beautiful than the photos. We loved the pool, and the bathtub and shower area were gorgeous. The host-prepared breakfast was really tasty. 10/10.

The house was clean, and we got breakfast every morning. Laundry service was especially handy for a longer stay. Asri and her family were very friendly, and we had a great time here.
