Sanctoo Suite and Villas

Our villa had its own pool, and we wished we’d booked a longer stay. It was my first time in Bali, and Sanctoo was a fantastic resort with impeccable service. Everyone was magnificent. Special thanks to our airport driver, Indra, who drove safely and made the trip interesting with a good chat. We absolutely recommend Sanctoo Suites and Villas.

We spent two weeks at Sanctoo with our five-year-old daughter. It’s a calm, beautiful, very clean resort, and the staff were kind throughout. Being so close to Bali Zoo was a big plus. Our daughter loved visiting and learning about the animals, and she still talks about the cooking class with the Sanctoo Chef. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the fruit and fresh juices. The spa is magnificent. It’s beside a waterfall, so you can hear the water during treatments. We had quite a few while we were there, and I highly recommend them. All the masseuses were lovely, with Diane especially staying in my memory. Lunch and dinner were nice, though I’d have liked more authentic dishes. We later found out the other restaurant beside the Spa had more traditional options. The Friday BBQ felt a bit limited, and we would have enjoyed more authentic Balinese entertainment. Still, we had an unforgettable stay. Thank you, Sanctoo!

We stayed at the hotel and had access to Bali Zoo, which turned out to be fun. The best part for us was the spa, set in nature beside a waterfall. Listening to the water while looking at the falls made the massage especially lovely. Ms Agung and Ms Mai were friendly and skilled therapists. Thank you, sanctoo, keep up the great spa service!

We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday at Sanctoo, and the staff made each day feel extra special for her. As first-time visitors to Bali, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the genuine, thoughtful hospitality was amazing. Reception, buggy drivers, housekeeping, wait staff, the sous chef and all the restaurant and bar cooks were professional, welcoming and eager to help. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but I appreciated them all, and there was no expectation of tipping. Our riverside villa was enormous, secluded and private, with wonderful views. Opening the doors felt like opening into the jungle, and the sounds of nature were blissful. The food, drinks, pool and massage services were all worth it. Being attached to Bali Zoo was another amazing part of the stay. There aren’t many places where you can hand-feed tigers, lions, elephants and meerkats. I can’t fault the resort. It was a pleasure staying at Sanctoo, and if our travels bring us back to Bali, we’ll stay there again. MR N Baera
