The staff helped me out of that Kanjeng Suite nightmare, and they were good. The place is decent for the price, though the sink smells really bad. There's no soundproofing, either, so you can hear the road and the neighbors.

It's simple, but okay for what it costs. The main thing they should address is the loud motorcycles that seem to race along the main road all night.

I paid AUD $110 for 2 nights through Airbnb, which felt like too much. I asked the owner about the WIFI speed and was told it could reach 100mps, but in my room I only got 0.5 to 8mps, averaging around 3-4mps. I was working and needed fast internet, so I wish the owner had been more honest about the actual speeds. The ground floor room was noisy because of guests above. It was old and tired, the fridge barely got cold, the shower fittings were broken, the toilet leaked, and the room smelled of mold. Maybe I was unlucky, but this is a very basic, worn guest house and the price didn't match my experience. In Sanur, you can definitely find better for less.

I spent 15 days here in Sanur for my diving Instructor Development Course and Instructor Exams. The crew were friendly, and there are lots of places to eat nearby. An express laundry shop is right next door, and several dive centres are within walking distance. Keep in mind this guest house doesn't take card payments, so bring cash.

The beds were comfortable and the small pool was nice. From Thursday to Sunday, two nearby bars have live entertainment, and it gets very noisy at night. If you find it cheap, it's worth considering for a few nights during the week.
