Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort

The little details made this second visit to Sofitel Nusa Dua Resort and Spa feel special. A handwritten welcome note, flowers, and fruit were waiting in our room, and the birthday celebration arranged by the Cucina team, with a cake brought to our room and another cake with a heartfelt “Happy Birthday,” meant a lot to us. We also enjoyed Club Millésime’s generous afternoon tea, evening drinks, and canapés, plus the special event for Accor members. A beachside massage was relaxing too. We stayed for 14 days in a spacious, well-appointed room with pool access, a complimentary upgrade that gave us a quiet, private stay. Storage was the one drawback for me: only about six hangers and two small drawers, which was awkward since I like to unpack. Housekeeping did a thorough job every day and was friendly and accommodating. When my husband felt unwell, our housekeeper checked if we needed help, and after we put up the DND sign, someone called to make sure everything was all right. That kind of care stood out. We ate dinner each night at Kwee Zeen, Toya, or Cucina, and were pleased with the meals and service. The buffet evenings had a good range and enjoyable entertainment. Cucina Apericena was the exception: the food and service fell short, especially the disappointing pasta course. Breakfast had Western, local, and Indian options, along with excellent fresh juices and very enjoyable coffee. Before we arrived, Njila and Timothy were prompt, professional, and attentive. They also told us about a large three-day cultural wedding at the resort and assured us our room would be away from it to limit disruption, which was thoughtful. There was a booking mix-up, but staff fixed it as soon as we arrived. We were welcomed warmly, taken to Club Millésime to check in, and offered an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. The thorough check-in covered the resort and our Platinum benefits. We love this resort and it remains our preferred place to stay in Bali.

The Club breakfast service was stunning, and the spread at Kwee Zeen was just as impressive on the mornings we ate there. There was a huge selection, thoughtfully arranged in stations, and the food across the hotel’s restaurants was fantastic. Staff throughout Sofitel were so attentive, especially at Club Millesime. This was my fourth trip back to the Sofitel in Bali. We chose a lagoon access room with Club facilities and were glad we paid extra for it. Friends had a lagoon room two doors away, so we could swim over to each other. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with lovely bathrooms and lighting that was just right for me. A stunning stay, thank you!

Dinner by the beach under the night sky was already a magical setting, and every dish we tried was amazing. What made the evening especially memorable was Darma, our server. She stayed attentive and warm throughout, making sure all our needs were taken care of. We were celebrating my fiancée’s birthday, and the whole night came together seamlessly. Anastasya and Kristina from the reservation team, along with the rest of the team, went out of their way to organize it perfectly. We’re so grateful to everyone for an unforgettable celebration. We can’t wait to return. 10/10 stars, I’d give more if I could.

She was friendly and helpful, and her recommendation was excellent. I’d happily come back.
