The Edge Bali

We started our day with lunch at the 180° Bar. The food was delicious, and enjoying the infinity pool with those incredible ocean views made it feel like such a special afternoon. The spa treatment afterward was peaceful and luxurious, with a beautiful view and staff who were warm and professional throughout. We’d booked the spa and romantic dinner package at The Edge Uluwatu, and finishing with dinner at sunset was perfect. The setting, food, and service were all amazing. From beginning to end, this was one of the most incredible experiences we’ve had in Bali. It cost every dollar, and we’ll remember it for a long time. Highly recommend it for a special luxury experience in Uluwatu.

Yudha, our butler, deserves a special thank you. He was thoughtful and attentive, often anticipating what we needed and adding small personal touches that made our wedding weekend feel effortless and magical. The whole team was warm, professional, and clearly committed to looking after us. We chose The Edge Bali for our wedding weekend, and the ocean views from the resort were breathtaking. The property captivated us as soon as we arrived, and the stay exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for such an important moment in our lives. Thank you!

The food is tasty and the service is excellent. Arsa, the Restaurant Manager, and his team did a superb job. It’s one of the best places in Bali to hang out. Thanks so much to everyone. Highly recommended, and I’m planning to visit again.

A huge thank you to our butler Mardi. He was fantastic and made us feel special throughout our stay. The wedding food was outstanding too, every dish was cooked perfectly, and the team’s communication during planning was responsive and helpful. The ceremony went smoothly and looked beautiful, though our maid of honour unfortunately didn’t have a bouquet for the walk down the aisle. We married at The Edge Bali on Monday. The venue is stunning and was a big reason we chose it, so it’s disappointing that some problems left us with a sour feeling about a day that should have been one of the most special of our lives. The drinks service after the ceremony was the first big miscommunication. We’d arranged beer and soft drinks, with cocktails and spirits on a tab for guests who didn’t want beer. Several people, including the matron of honour and later the bride, were left without a drink. I asked several times where the cocktails were and was told they were coming. After four asks, guests were nearly seated for entrées before anything arrived. Then the drinks brought out were the shooters we’d asked to have later, once dancing began. It was awkward to have those passed around before some guests had received a proper first drink. Cocktails only started arriving shortly after the first course. The rest of the evening went smoothly, but the final beverage bill charged us for more than 50 cocktails and spirits. There were only 12 guests, three of them non-drinkers. The bride’s father only drank beer, I had one cocktail, and some others were still having beer all evening. Given how briefly cocktails were available, the total doesn’t seem realistic. Breakfast and the spa were lovely the next morning. Later that evening, though, my wife and I both came down with severe Bali belly. We spent the first day of our honeymoon competing for the toilet while caring for our 18-month-old daughter. Since we hadn’t eaten elsewhere that day, we could only assume breakfast may have contributed. We’re grateful to be married and had many wonderful parts of our stay, especially the breathtaking venue. Still, the beverage service, food safety, and billing issues need improvement before I’d recommend it to anyone.
