The Rinaya Canggu Hotel

Good location, nice hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend staying here.

I only booked one night because this place is close to nirvana and other gyms are within walking distance. The front desk girl was friendly and helpful. I had booked one double bed but was first given a twin room, and she promptly moved me to another one. That room was covered in flying bugs, on the walls, ceiling, window, bathroom, and bed. I opened the balcony door but there were too many to clear out. The shower pressure was weak, and the water only came out at one particular angle. The towels were very old, stained, and dirty. The air con wasn't working properly either, so the room was hot. When I told the girl at reception, she saw the bugs, checked the air con, and said she'd speak to her boss. I was offered another room five minutes later. The air con still wasn't great, but it was better, and at least the walls weren't covered in bugs, even though something was flying around. I didn't take photos because insects scare me.

The place smells like mold, the rooms are falling apart, and it costs too much. I had no instructions on how to get there or check in, and I couldn't find the Wi-Fi details. I had to sit in the lobby to get online. It makes me wonder whether the owner cares about the place. This was just hell.

There wasn't much fragrance in the room, which I appreciated. It was clean, and the air conditioner worked well.
