Favehotel MT. Haryono - Balikpapan

The staff were lovely, and both the room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I arrived early and they let me check in ahead of time, which I appreciated. The towels could use replacing, but otherwise I had a great stay and nothing else to complain about.

For a budget stay, the service and breakfast were nice, and the room was clean. The air conditioning and hot shower both worked well. Prices aren't high, though it can get crowded at breakfast, especially on weekends.

The staff were accommodating, and my room was neat and clean. The breakfast service was okay, though there weren't many local options; the bathroom amenities could be improved, and the hotel could be more efficient about going green. Its hillside setting is close to the city center and not too far from the airport, but getting around on foot is awkward. I had to use a vehicle to reach the hotel and other destinations, with little public transport or shuttle service in the area. As someone who likes walking, I found the lack of pedestrian access frustrating.

The reception desk could use some tidying up, since it's the first thing customers see. Aside from that, I've always enjoyed staying at Fave Hotel. The staff are polite, and the rooms are clean, a decent size, and minimal in style. The bathroom was clean as well.
