The breakfast was only local rice dishes, and luckily I was there for just one night before my flight. The bathroom was very dirty, with old fixtures. I woke up to a cockroach in the middle of the night, and the next room had them too.

The room is spacious, though it could use a refresh. The hotel is on the way to the airport, set about 100 meters back from the street, so traffic noise doesn't bother you.

If you need one room with three beds, this place should do. It’s pretty cheap and the room facilities are decent for what you pay. Being a little outside Banda Atjeh is the downside.

The function rooms have professional staff, and the toilets and musholla are clean. It seems suited to events, though I’m not sure it would be comfortable for an overnight stay.

It’s easy to find, right beside the main road, and the area around it isn’t crowded.
