The location is great, breakfast was okay, and the bed seemed fairly clean, but the room itself was very poor. Service was also disappointing. I arrived exhausted after an early flight and ordered food, but the delivery person couldn't bring it upstairs and the hotel wouldn't take it up either. I had to go down myself, and when I was about five minutes late, reception refused to accept the food. I knew I couldn't check in early. I asked them to contact me once the room was ready, but heard nothing until around 2 p.m. When I called, they said it was ready. Nice enough, but not helpful.

The room is huge and the bed is comfortable. You're right in central Banda Aceh, with places to eat and drink nearby and many attractions within walking distance. The big field out front gets lively in the evening. Watch your step inside, though. Some floor areas don't show where a step is, and a few tiles seem loose.

The food and staff were excellent, and the location is great. Hot showers too, though the bathroom fittings weren't very good and the doors let sound through. Internet was also very bad. We paid IDR 880,000 per day for a Deluxe room for 2 plus 2, with breakfast.

The room amenities were great, with calming shampoo, soap, and body wash that felt like expensive branded products. The hotel has a five-star feel, while the restaurant menu items in the room are really cheap and worth ordering. Very recommended. I'll visit again!
