On a work trip to Aceh, I found the Reddoorz quite comfortable, with friendly, good service and a strategic location. They even took us to the mosque for each of the five daily prayers. After dawn prayers, we met members of the community, learned about Acehnese culture, and were treated to coffee and breakfast for free.

The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms clean. It seems suitable for middle-aged and older guests. Prices are around 200-300. If you smoke, ask for a room with a balcony so you have more space.
