RedDoorz Plus @ Puncak Mas Cottage

I had three hours to rest before an event, but ended up sleeping in my car and losing 200,000 Rupiah. I went to PeDean without checking the reviews first. This isn't a guesthouse, and they charge both an entry fee and for parking.

They charge 20,000 Rupiah per person to enter the inn, plus 10,000 Rupiah for parking. For what you get, it's expensive: the rooms are cramped, the toilets are awful, and the building looks like it could collapse. They don't provide mineral water either, you have to buy it for 10,000 Rupiah.

The room we were sent to was inside, and since my husband had made the reservation, we weren't given a choice of the front building. The one out front looks much nicer, so they should just cancel the inside cottages. Their building is very rickety, with a rough wooden feel, and the floor has lots of holes. I can't speak for the front rooms. The toilet was dirty, and so were the towels, pillowcase, curtains, and dusty glass. I wouldn't bring children here. My children couldn't use the toilet because it was dirty.

The water was off and the sheets were dirty. If you haven't stayed here before, know that entry is 20,000 Rupiah, with another 10,000 Rupiah for parking each night.
