The entrance is a bit hidden among all the shops, and reception is on the fifth floor, reachable only by elevator. I arrived ten minutes before the usual check-in time, but the receptionist made me wait until 14:00. Room 1412 was very dated, and there were stains on the bedding and pillowcases, though they smelled fresh. There was plenty of storage, the AC worked well and was very quiet, and the large bathroom had good water pressure and almost instant hot water. I killed at least a dozen cockroaches in the room. The hotel is right beside a mosque, and loud prayers woke me at 3:40 in the morning.

The room was cleaned, but they left the bedding as it was. The towel was still wet too, just folded up instead of replaced. ☹️

The location worked well for us, close to alun alun bandung, though cars and bikes can't reach the entrance, so we had to carry our bags on foot. The rest of the stay fell short of what we'd expected. We arrived before check-in and asked reception to hold our luggage. They told us to leave it in the luggage room, but gave us no tag to identify it. The room smelled of the previous guest's perfume, so I bought carbol from indomaret and cleaned it myself. There was yellow grime on the shower curtain, a dirty bath mat, and a sticky floor. We'd booked breakfast with the room, but when we went down at 8, everything was gone. We ended up buying breakfast outside, and the menu there was only so-so. We're definitely not coming back.

During an earthquake, everyone was panicking and the hotel gave us no information about whether we should evacuate. Before that, check-in couldn't be arranged early because the front desk said the rooms were still full. The room we got also wasn't the type we'd booked. The entrance is hard to spot, disguised by a fashion store, and there's nowhere for guests to park cars. On the positive side, the building seemed well maintained, the interiors were beautiful, and the facilities were fairly complete, including a swimming pool tucked away in the hotel. Our room was acceptably clean, though the spacious bathroom wasn't very clean. Breakfast had a good range of items and was refilled quickly.
