Best Western Setiabudhi Bandung

Pak Benny gave some of the best service I've had. The staff were warm, and the nasi goreng is, to me, among the best in town. Best Western in Setiabudhi is handy for a trip to the Lembang Area, with EV charging and Ayam Juara among its facilities. One of the best hotels around.

The road noise was the one drawback, since our room faced the main road in Setiabudhi and wasn't soundproof. Maybe Best Western could look into soundproof glass. Still, I was comfortable and would consider coming back for an event in the Setiabudhi area. The room was spotless, with fresh towels, blankets, and sheets. Breakfast was fine for a 3-star hotel, and I liked the locally made yogurt from Lembang. At check-in, Ms. Pupah warmly welcomed us and offered to show us a room first so I could see if it suited my preferences. I appreciated that.

The bathroom design was frustratingly cramped. To get to the shower, I had to squeeze past the closet and close the bathroom door first. Breakfast and dining were just so-so. The room itself was clean and bright once I was moved to the right category. I checked in late at around 19:45 on January 23rd with my family. I had booked an Executive Room directly on the official website, but was first given Room 219, a Standard Room without a living area. I only noticed after going in. When I returned to complain, the receptionist moved me to Room 312, the correct category. It felt as if she knowingly tried to downgrade me, hoping I wouldn't notice, and that made for a very disappointing check-in.

The breakfast was good, and there were things my 2-year-old could eat. The room was great apart from the small shower room, and the gym is quite small too. The security guard by the lobby was friendly.
