Bobopod Cipaganti, Bandung

The digital check-in and checkout made everything really simple. This was my first stay in a capsule hotel like this, and I liked the modern, futuristic feel and minimalist setup. The pod was comfortable, the facilities were very clean, and you can adjust its lighting to fit your mood.

The easy-to-use app made check-in smooth, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. I also liked how clean the pods and shared areas were, with a modern minimalist look that still felt welcoming. The capsule rooms offer a nice balance of privacy and comfort. Bobobox Cipaganti is right in the heart of Cipaganti, so it’s easy to explore nearby. For a budget-friendly, different kind of stay in Bandung, it worked well whether traveling alone or with friends. I’d happily come back and recommend Bobobox Cipaganti.

3.5 stars. The bathroom could be better: the water pump wasn’t great, the heater was hard to adjust, and there was nowhere to hang clothes or a towel. I’m 183 cm and found the Sky type difficult to reach, so shorter guests may be better off with Earth type. The capsule bedroom itself is comfortable, has a nice atmosphere with selectable light colors, and the AC gets very cold.

It’s hard to justify paying the same as a regular room for such a tiny space with fewer facilities. The bed is good, and you can change the room’s light color. There are also two relaxing background sound options. With an Earth-type pod, though, you’ll often hear noises from the Sky neighbor.
