Bukit Dago Hotel

It’s an old hotel, and housekeeping was fair. The linen and towels were clean, and both the air conditioning and water heater worked well. The bathroom had an odor, though. I’d suggest adding an anti-backflow drain.

We were in a rush that night, looking for the nearest hotel after our sister’s wedding, and the service was really disappointing. The receptionist was very impolite, and we also had to leave a 100k deposit that hadn’t been mentioned on the booking websites. The room was unclean, and the standard double didn’t even have a double bed. There were no amenities, not even soap. The receptionist and security staff weren’t wearing masks, and there was no hand sanitizer at the front desk or disinfectant. I don’t always leave bad ratings, but I’ve usually found much better hotels in Bandung for the same price. I wasn’t expecting much from a budget hotel, but this was the worst one for me.

There are lots of food stalls right outside the hotel, and groceries are available too. I was skeptical at first because the price was so cheap, but the room turned out better than I expected. For me, it’s the best budget hotel in Bandung, and the quality is above what the price suggests. I’d recommend staying here if you’re looking for a budget hotel.
