It’s a good, quiet place, and I liked the old interior. It felt a bit dirty, though, and the staff didn’t seem to care about wearing masks during the pandemic. That made us feel unsafe during our stay.
The place feels pretty ordinary to me, maybe a bit overrated. What I did like was the quiet, fresh air and chic design, especially the bathroom door. It has a homey feel, and a terrace room gives you a nice green view. The security guy was lovely and washed the car really well. Getting there is less pleasant: it’s at the end of a narrow road in a crowded residential area, with very little parking. Cleaning also needs work. My shower area was still soaking wet, the electric kettle had water in it, and the cups were stained. There isn’t much food nearby unless you use the Go*** service.
We booked a twin room with a balcony, but it had been double-booked. Every day we were asked to move to a different room with one bed and no balcony, which was really annoying. The room also wasn’t cleaned unless we specifically asked, and the water wasn’t replenished even though we’d been told it would be. I doubt I’ll stay here again.
After a long drive from the city center, finding this place cozy was a nice surprise. It’s comfortable to stay in, though you’ll want to bring some food for late-night snacks or breakfast.
The people here felt like family, and I loved the peaceful atmosphere, soft breeze, and the sounds of animals. It’s a cozy, homey guesthouse with lovely pine views over the hills. A better mattress would make it even more comfortable.
