Being close to Braga Street made it easy to wander through the historic area, take in its old architecture and lively atmosphere, and try local food. I found my stay at eL Hotel in Bandung memorable. The city had a cool climate, and the hotel was clean, had adequate facilities, and offered friendly, professional service. It was calm and comfortable at the hotel, so I could rest well. The fresh morning air in Bandung put me in a good mood for the day. The stay left me with a positive impression and was a pleasant part of my visit to Bandung.

We went to a relative's wedding in the ballroom. It was a nice venue and the catering food was decent. There are lots of couches in the lobby, which helped while we waited for transportation and during the time before check-in and after check-out. The hotel is close to Bandung train station and Braga street. Our room was clean and had a city view, so we could watch how busy the traffic was from the window. Room service was okay, and the reception staff and bell boys were especially friendly and helpful. We had a good experience at éL Hotel Bandung, and it belongs on the list of places to stay in town.

For dinner, Sky Lounge is a good pick, and don't miss the Mont Blanc Coffee or Chicken Wings. Families can make use of the warm-water pool with jacuzzi and kids playground. éL Hotel Bandung is a cozy, elegant place in the heart of the city, within walking distance of Braga, Alun-Alun, and Asia Afrika. The spacious Merdeka Suite was especially comfortable, with a separate living room and bathtub.

Breakfast had a decent taste and a good range of choices, and check-in went smoothly. The staff were generally friendly. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, and the facilities were adequate, though some areas could use a refresh. It's a solid Bandung option for business trips, short stays, or a longer visit.
