The courtyard is beautiful, and the atmosphere is lovely. We got a family room for four, which was the best we could have asked for at this price. Breakfast was included, along with unlimited tea. If you’re staying in Bandung, go nowhere else.

The room rate suited a budget traveler like me, and I like this guest house at that price. It’s a fine place to crash after a long day walking or checking out Bandung’s food. The AC worked, the room was clean, and the bathroom was adequate. There’s a cozy living room/cafe in the middle, though small rooms can mean loud neighbors. Update: my bathroom didn’t have running hot water, even though the brochure said it did.

The spacious garden was good for gathering with our large family, and we enjoyed the food: nasi goreng, mie goreng, soto with koya, ayam sambal matah, and wedang jahe. Coffee and tea were available for self-service 24 hours. I’ve stayed here twice, most recently for just one night. The bathroom and bedroom could use improvement, and there were lots of mosquitoes in the first-floor room. The level 2 executive balcony room was fairly spacious and had its own balcony and a bathtub in the bathroom, though I didn’t use it. I forgot to take pictures because we were busy at our cousin’s wedding.

The food was great, especially the Grilled chicken and mie tek tek, which are both favorites of mine. I also liked chatting at the dining table in the homey atmosphere. My room was clean, the staff were helpful and very nice, and the price felt like good value. I stayed for two nights and had a very pleasant visit.
