RedDoorz Plus @ Bagusrangin Street

The stained bedcover with a cigarette burn hole was a real letdown. Better housekeeping checks would help. Aside from that, the rooms were well kept and the facilities seem to keep improving. I find this a dependable place to stay regularly because the price and quality balance well. The lobby and café feel homey, and the receptionist was warm and professional. It’s also easy to walk to places to eat and explore, with Bandung’s main spots accessible from here.

The staff were kind, and the room itself was nice, but mine and the toilet in it needed a more thorough clean. There were bits of litter in the tissue box and toilet, a stain on one of the twin bed sheets, and the towels had a strange smell. The location was convenient, near gazibu and about 15 minutes from places like ITB and the station. There’s an alfamart within walking distance. I hope they clean more carefully and provide fresh towels.

There’s a cafe for hanging out, and getting here is easy. Service was nice, and the TV has digital channels. The water heater worked well, though my AC didn’t cool the room enough.

It’s a small, cozy place in a convenient but quiet spot behind Dipatiukur. The room was fine for the price, except for a damp patch on the wall. The rest was okay, I guess.
