Fox Harris Hotel City Center Bandung

The room was clean, and I had a beautiful view. I appreciated the good care the staff gave my friend and me, including taking care of my notes and requests. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome too. Special thanks to Dara, Kania and Yunita. If I get the chance to visit Bandung again, I think I’ll book here another time.

Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t much variety. The room was spacious, but the toilet felt far too small and dim for a room that size. I’d expected a bigger toilet. I booked an Executive Room with Balcony and requested a double bed, but it was two single beds pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable middle for my kid to sleep on. The hot water kept cutting in and out on the first day. The staff were fairly helpful, and in general the stay was good. Hopefully things can improve.

For a business stay, it was pleasant enough, and the rest of the service and facilities were reasonably well maintained. A few things could be improved: there was no complimentary mineral water or jug for collecting drinking water, so bring drinks for your stay. The bathroom amenities seemed very old and weren’t often replaced in rooms that had been unoccupied. Also, the room and bathroom had an unpleasant smell and could use more deodorizer.

Both rooms I booked were in the same poor state, and they really need renovation. They smelled damp, and the bathrooms were dirty, with stains on the walls and floor and mold all over, especially by the sink. One sink was missing its drain cover. There were lots of stains on the dirty ceiling and carpet too. The location and service were great, but I don’t think I’ll come back.
