Hotel Acidalia

It's okay.

Wouldn't recommend it 👎👎

We arrived at the hotel around 9 PM after spending about an hour looking for a guesthouse. We'd checked in that morning, March 2, 2024, using the OYO app. At the property, they casually told us the rooms were full and they no longer worked with OYO. They said several people had run into the same problem since noon. It didn't make sense to us, since the guesthouse still showed as available in the app. They'd already let the booking go and had no solution, so we left. Then, less than 30 minutes later, the listing disappeared from OYO and showed the message '......unavailable'.

I'm disappointed. I booked and paid through OYO, but when I got there I was told the room had already been sold because, they said, the system hadn't recorded the booking from OYO. They promised a refund but told me I had to cancel first. I still haven't received anything. I don't understand what the guesthouse or its staff did, but the place is unclear. OYO says it can't refund me because I canceled on the same day. I feel cheated.
