We were exhausted after a long day, and the place looked nothing like the photos on agoda. It felt like a scam, and the stay was a nightmare. The AC didn’t work, so we slept in a sauna, and we felt too sickened by the bathroom to use it. I asked the staff if we could switch rooms, but he said they were all the same. I left my jacket behind because I wanted to get out quickly and find another hotel.
2/10
The receptionist asked me to pay more.
6/10
The staff were pleasant and helped carry my things downstairs after checkout. I’d booked two rooms. Check-in was at 2 PM, and arriving earlier meant paying another 50,000 Rupiah. The front room had a decent window but a very dark bathroom. The other room, third from the front if I remember right, was dim, with a slightly sagging mattress. The hot water worked, but took a while.
6/10
It’s cheap, and the room feels homey and comfortable. There’s a TV, AC, cupboard, and power outlet, and the place is spacious. The cupboard is old and smells bad, though, and the AC felt more like a fan, with no noticeable freon. The toilet faucet had a problem, but the shower worked well. Hopefully the place improves.
2/10
The room wasn’t what we’d booked. It was dirty, the AC was just a fan, and the bed sagged. Not worth it.
