I had a really enjoyable stay, with a nice atmosphere and a good morning breeze. It's far enough from the city to feel pleasant, but not too far away. The room could use some work, since a few of the wooden floorboards were chipped. They also have a suite, though you can only book it by contacting the hotel directly, it's not listed online.

We liked being a little farther from the city, and the hotel is close to the closed Bandung Zoo and ITB. It's an amazing place with beautiful architecture.

I want to raise a complaint about the room I couldn't use during my stay. I booked two rooms through Agoda for the 25th-26th this week, but one room's AC stopped working on the night of the 25th. Staff tried to fix it, without success. Since the hotel was full, there was no replacement room, so my friend and I had to share the other room and I effectively lost use of the second one I had paid for. I was told the hotel had arranged a refund through Agoda, but Agoda says it isn't responsible, leaving me confused and inconvenienced. This was a very unpleasant stay and fell short of what I expect as a paying guest. I hope the issue can be reviewed and resolved fairly, especially the refund for the unusable room.

We still had our first great night here =D, but the place seems to have passed its peak and is now declining. Kinda sad I didn't get to visit 10-15 years ago instead of today. Hmm, I thought it was pretty okay.

House Sangkuriang has a peaceful, refreshing feel, with greenery around it, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and well kept with a bit of classic charm. The staff were friendly and helpful too. In Dago, it's easy to reach popular attractions, cafes, and shopping spots around Bandung. It's affordable and comfortable, a good value for either a leisure or business stay.
