Lenora Hotel

The hotel looks nice and has an aesthetic feel, but has the Wi-Fi been fixed? It keeps disconnecting and losing signal, so I think it’s better for a holiday than for a business trip :)

We had a clean room and comfortable beds, and the front desk was helpful. Apart from that, things were fine, but our family room on the ground floor was awkwardly designed and built. It was large, though the double bed sat at an angle, so you had to climb over it, which was difficult at night. The bathroom had a comically oversized sink, leaving the door able to open only halfway. To close it, you had to maneuver around the door and back into the shower. The vent was also extremely loud. Whenever water was used on an upper floor, it rushed past our room so noisily, like a waterfall, and it happened often. There was a breeze coming into the room. We think it was from the second-story window, which also had no blinds. The room wasn’t soundproofed either, even though I picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and thought a newer hotel might have considered that. The airport shuttle turned out to be an overpriced taxi, 20 euros for a 15-minute ride. The inside of the teapot was grimy, as if someone had put something other than water in it, and the staff hadn’t checked. My complaints are mainly about this one poorly designed room. Next time, I think I’d go down the street to a chain hotel.

Our room faced a busy road, and traffic at commute times was really noisy. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily, though, and I liked the simple look of white paint with light brown wood. There’s a water dispenser in the hallway. You can also reach your floor by elevator without going past reception, which felt somewhat private.

I stayed for four days and three nights. The first day, there was a stain on my bed cover, but they changed it every single day after that. I also loved having a water dispenser in the hallway 🧡 The room was quite spacious, with two bedside tables and a workspace. The bathroom is separated by a curtain, and the toilet area is a bit narrow. I liked the place overall: it’s clean, the food is tasty though the choices are limited, and the rooftop is comfortable. My workplace is about 15-20 minutes away.
