Mansion Nine

Please stay away if you’re a tourist or a backpacker like me. For your own sanity. After four months traveling around Asia on a budget, this was by far the worst place I stayed. The first room they showed me was horrifying: dirty bed, toilet, walls, mirror, pretty much everything. It was obvious nobody had cleaned it. We asked to move because the room was so bad, but the replacement wasn’t much better. There was cigarette ash in a drawer, a dead cockroach, and dirty curtains. The floor was dirty too, clearly never mopped. The towels smelled awful, and the pillows were damp and mouldy. They don’t provide a bin or toilet paper in the room, so there’s nowhere to put used toilet paper either. It’s a shame, because the place has potential if it were cleaned. The bed sheets all need replacing, and the whole place needs a deep clean. Also, local prayer is played over a speaker every day at 4:30 am, and it’s extremely loud, enough to wake you up.
