Oyo 495 D Papaya Garden

I couldn't sleep because someone on staff played music early in the morning, loud enough to hear in my room. The room was filthy, the bed was dusty, and the toilet was especially bad. It smelled awful.

It's tucked into a small street, but there's plenty of parking for cars and motorcycles. The room is small but clean enough, with AC and a little TV that gets local UHF channels. The location is convenient for Trans Studio Mall, alun alun bandung, and kiaracondong train station. I'd skip the guest house food, since there are lots of street food choices outside.

The staff were helpful, and the price was affordable, but cleanliness was awful. I had to buy slippers just to use the toilet, which was in terrible shape. I only realized the next morning that the bed was covered in blood, maybe from a previous guest, because it had been hidden by the oyo lining.

The staff were very kind and polite, but the room felt scary and was extremely dirty, especially the toilet. The smell was awful. I wouldn't recommend staying here, even on a budget.
