The route is worth planning for: take the main Dago road toward Ciumbuleuit, then go slowly on the steep, winding final stretch, especially in the rain. Getting there before evening lets you enjoy the views on the way. I had a very pleasant stay and would come back. Padma Hotel Bandung felt like a relaxing escape from the city, with fresh air and lovely views. It seems especially easy to recommend for families with kids, thanks to the open spaces, activities, and safe, welcoming feel. I’d rate it 9.5/10 for being kid-friendly. The room was clean, cozy, spacious enough to unwind in, and well maintained, about 9/10. Its warm, calming design suited the natural surroundings. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful without being too formal, so check-in and check-out went smoothly. I’d give them 9/10. My one small concern was the pool. The area was nice, but I spotted some broken tiles on the bottom that could be dangerous for children. I’d rate it 7.5/10 and hope they fix them soon.

We’re looking forward to returning when Padma Hotel Bandung reopens. As a Padma Preferred guest, we’re staying at another five-star hotel in Bandung while Padma is being renovated, and the difference has reminded me how special Padma feels. As a mother, I value its warmth, genuine care for families and children, and comforting atmosphere. Even after trying other luxury hotels, Padma is still our benchmark and feels like home.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times, and it’s made me happy every time. My friends loved it too. There are great views, good pools, and lots of activities. It feels more like an amusement park than a hotel. The donuts and other food they serve are really yummy.

I’m sad and glad at the same time to hear the hotel is temporarily closed for renovation. My family and I always had a wonderful time at Padma. The staff were kind and helpful, and the service was great. Our room was neat and clean, and the food was delicious, with lots of variety. The scenery was beautiful, and I loved the quiet atmosphere and our trekking. Another highlight was the amusement park, which made the hotel great for kids.

The setting is peaceful, and there’s plenty to keep the kids busy, from feeding the animals to the flying fox. Adults can join morning yoga, and the pool is warm and inviting. They even lend guests swimwear, a thoughtful touch. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and ready to help, which made our stay feel special. We had an amazing time here. It’s a lovely family getaway for relaxing and having fun.
