A top spot.

The location is tucked inside a complex, and some gates are shut at night. Arriving late could leave you stuck looking for somewhere else to stay. The place looks like a house, with its gate closed after dark and no guard out front, so it was hard to spot the entrance and bell. Eventually an employee showed up, calling down from the second floor. It felt odd going in through a garage with motorcycles parked inside, then heading upstairs. There’s no lobby, just a small CCTV room where someone handles administration. The floor directions were confusing too: after climbing stairs to the second floor, I was told my room was on the first floor, but getting there meant going up another set of stairs. No elevator, either. I had a room at the far end by the balcony. It had a TV that was noisy and not very good, plus one rather dim light. Drinks were downstairs, but there were no glasses in the room, so you needed a tumbler. The pillows were thin, the neighboring wall was a bit dirty, and I found rubbish behind a small table when I moved it. The bathroom had soap, a large towel, and one bath mat. I paid for a meal because the inn was far from everything and I hoped to avoid the hassle of finding breakfast. The food was expensive and unpleasant, though. The taste was hard to make out, the rice was hard, and the chicken made me feel sick. Better to skip offering it than waste food people can’t eat. The staff initially said hot water was available, but there was none by the time I left. Fortunately, it wasn’t cold out. Someone also smoked outside another room, and the smell drifted into mine and really bothered me. I hope they improve things.
