The receptionist was kind and helped me pack some paintings I bought in Braga. The rooms, though, were disgusting. In the first room I was given, black mould covered the bathroom ceiling around the vent. The bed and chair had cigarette burn holes all over despite the room being non-smoking, and there was an unpleasant smell. I left the bathroom fan running 24/7 to keep the air moving. It seems the hotel is run entirely for profit, with no money spent maintaining the rooms. I've seen the same thing at some other places.

The budget hotel is in a fairly strategic location, and the price is affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception, and the security guards were helpful too. The room cleanliness needs a lot of improvement: the sheet and pillowcase were stained, the towels smelled bad, and the hot water wasn't hot at all. There was only one power socket in the room.

It's very close to the airport and works for an individual who just needs somewhere to sleep at night, rather than a family. Maintenance is lacking: the bed creaks, the shower pressure gets very low when using hot water, and the only power socket is hidden behind the pedestal and is almost coming out of the wall. Cleanliness was 2 out of 5. Safety felt questionable too. Someone tried my door in the morning, then left after realizing it was locked, while telling a friend there were still people in the room. Don't they have a list showing which rooms are occupied?

The fried rice sold by carts at night was delicious. We stayed for three nights, though, and I was really disappointed that the room wasn't well maintained.

The bed needs to be cleaner.
