Ruby Hotel Syariah

The room was very comfortable and could get quite cold at night. It’s a small hotel with a decent amount of parking, right in the heart of Bandung, so the location is very convenient. A great option if you’re looking for comfort, a good location, and a good price.

I booked a deluxe twin room for two nights, breakfast included, through Trav3lo*4 and paid about IDR 518k. I got there around 5 pm, and the reservation was confirmed in under five minutes. My room was on the fourth floor, as requested. It was quite spacious, with a TV, desk, extra chair, wardrobe, mini fridge, toiletries, bathroom hairdryer, and slippers. The room and bathroom were clean, the area was quiet and away from street commotion, and the Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was okay. I enjoyed the stay overall, though they missed my breakfast on the first day. They gave me a double portion on day two to make up for it, which was okay, at least they tried to fix the mistake. A few things could be improved: the hand soap was empty and should have been refilled before arrival. The room had an Al-Qur’an, and it would be better if a “sajadah” were provided too. The towels and bathmat could be replaced with new ones. The “jadwal shalat” should also be updated regularly, since it still showed April 2021 when I stayed in October 2021.

We paid around Rp0.4m per night, including taxes and a full-course breakfast for two, so it’s an affordable boutique hotel. The staff were nice, the service was good, and everything was clean. We chose to eat breakfast outdoors on the third-floor dining area or small garden, where there’s a kids’ swimming pool and fresh air. The TV had various channels, and the room had a refrigerator, hair dryer, and other conveniences. May HIS bless you all and bring you success 🙏😀

It’s easy to find, with a quiet setting, clean rooms, helpful staff, and good food. I’ll come back when I’m in Bandung again.
