Sans Vibes Hotel Malabar

The bed was hard and rocky, and the blanket was thin and unlike the usual white hotel blanket. Also, the hot water didn't last as promised: the receptionist said 20 minutes, but after only 5 minutes it went freezing cold.

I stayed in a suite with my two kids, and the bathroom, refrigerator, and other things were all working fine, Alhamdulillah. Cleanliness needs attention, though. The toilet was really dirty when we arrived, and there was dust all over under the bed.

We were hoping to head out early for a long drive, but the manager was nowhere to be found. We rang the desk bell and tried calling RedDoorz, then spent half an hour searching before finding him asleep in a hidden spot. Check-in three days earlier had also been a wait, since he was busy with other things and didn't welcome us or help until he was ready to act. Other room issues: hot water lasted about a minute before turning cold, the bathroom door kept sliding open, and the towel rack was broken. WiFi was passable, but the bottled water that was promised never arrived.

The hotel was well run and clean, with a strategic location, a good price, and very good service. It's close to a food court too. I'd recommend it and would like to visit again when I get the chance.
