This has happened to me twice now, and it’s extremely frustrating. The official check-in is 2:00 PM, but I didn’t get into my room until 3:30 PM. They said there had been an event and that guests checked out late, but late check-outs should be managed without holding up other guests. If the hotel says late check-out ends at 1:00 PM, it should enforce that rule. The hotel clearly doesn’t stick to its check-in schedule or respect guests who arrive on time expecting a ready room. Waiting hours past check-in is unacceptable. The service was very unprofessional and management poor. I won’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values punctuality and basic respect for customers.

I liked the old-house atmosphere. It made the place feel relaxing, and there’s a kids library inside. At the current price range, I can’t find anything bad to say.

A lovely, simple art deco hotel in a great spot. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the value for money was amazing. I’d stay again.

The garden in front of the guest house makes it feel like home when you can wander around there. Really nice place, and the staff are very friendly. Recommended for everyone.

The car wash and valet were a nice bonus, and the meal was delicious. My room and bathroom were spotless, and most of the staff I met were friendly. The receptionist could have been more welcoming, though. I had a pleasant stay at Selaras Guesthouse.
