For cheap accommodation in the middle of town, don't expect too much. The room was reasonably clean, and the toilet had a bit of moss and dirt, but at that price it was okay. I paid 110,000 for the weekend, down from 120,000. The place is meant for long-distance travellers without a car or for backpackers, since cars can't get in. It's in an alley, but still comfortable, cool, and quiet, and the guard was friendly.

The male guard was quite friendly, but that doesn't change my view. This was the worst stay I've had at a property. I'd give it minus five if I could. Think twice before booking, and I hope they improve soon because there are already plenty of negative reviews. The owner said they'd ended their partnership with apps like Trvkl or Tktcm 6-7 months ago, yet the place was still listed. They didn't want to know about our problem even though we booked through those apps. The listing photos didn't match the actual place at all. They looked completely different, and I don't know where the app got them. The owner said they no longer worked with any apps and didn't know why they were still listed. The prices differed too: the worst room cost 130,000 Rupiah in person and 82,000 Rupiah on the app. The price difference isn't the point. The property just isn't suitable to be listed there. The location wasn't where the map indicated and was quite far off. If you're walking, be careful, especially with a suitcase. Water barely came out of the faucet, and the shower didn't work. The toilet flush was broken, as was the lid. There was only a small bucket and dipper for washing and bathing. I used the dipper twice before the water ran out. While I waited for more, the soap dried on my body. Someone else's used soap was still there, not cleaned away. Crazy. The mattress was mostly springs and really inadequate. The sheets and blanket hadn't been washed and made me itch, and I didn't dare use the pillow. It seemed likely they hadn't changed the sheets or blanket. There was only a small table, with coffee marks left by someone, another sign the room hadn't been cleaned.

The app's roadside location claim was misleading. The place was actually down a crazy alley, well off the beaten path. It was pouring, so I had no choice but to stay. Otherwise, I'd have left to find somewhere else. The woman there was rude, and the price wasn't the same as in the app. Be careful, I felt scammed. The photos on the app looked lovely and comfortable, but the room I found was smelly and dirty, and the toilet looked completely neglected. It was my first stay in a haunted, run-down house. The mattress had metal supports to make it look raised, but inside it was empty. Hahaha, lying down felt like I was on the floor. The sheets were incredibly dirty and apparently hadn't been changed.

I paid through the app after seeing SPOT ON 91190 still had rooms with air conditioning, a private bathroom, TV, mirror, and shower. When I arrived, the room I'd booked was no longer available. The only rooms left had inadequate facilities, with a shared bathroom outside the room. I asked SPOT ON 91190 to take responsibility, but they told me to cancel. It was already around 9:30 PM WIB, within check-in time, so cancellations weren't accepted. I then said I'd take the room as it was if they gave me compensation, but SPOT ON 91190 refused. I accepted the unsuitable room without compensation and told them I'd leave an honest review. They responded negatively, raising their voice and glaring at me, and eventually evicted me.
