Tebu Hotel Bandung

The deluxe room was okay, and I liked the location. But at checkout around 11:55 AM, I went to collect an online delivery package at the lobby desk, following the hotel procedure, and it wasn’t there. The driver had confirmed delivery and sent photo proof according to SOP. Staff at the lobby entrance also confirmed they couldn’t find it. We asked the receptionist for CCTV access to work out what had happened. We waited about 30 minutes with no clear update, even though we were in a rush to leave Bandung. Around 12:35 PM, a staff member came to ask what we were looking for. The package had been moved from the usual table to the storage room, but no one had told the other staff. We weren’t properly informed and the whole situation inconvenienced us. The CCTV recording from 16 February 2026 can verify all of this. Management should seriously review and enforce its SOP. This showed gaps in communication and coordination that shouldn’t happen at a hotel of this standard. Guests shouldn’t have to spend time fixing problems caused by internal mismanagement.

The location is strategic, and the mezzanine room worked well for our group of five, with five beds. It’s suitable if you mainly need a place to sleep. The room and bathroom were quite small, though, and cleanliness was only acceptable. There were some wall leaks and minor marks. Service was generally good, but a few requests took longer than expected. I was concerned that the stairs sit right over the lower bed, so dust could easily fall onto it. Hopefully they can improve that.

The service was all okay. They should pay a bit more attention to washing the towels, though, so they don’t have yellow spots.

The rooms were clean and the location was convenient, but noise carried badly. Well after midnight I could clearly hear two women talking loudly. I called the front office, but it wasn’t sorted out until after 1 a.m.
