The room was okay for the money, and the location was great, but the booking availability didn’t match what was actually there. I’d paid for five single rooms, but at check-in the staff member said they weren’t available because of the OYO system. Only two single rooms were available, so I had to switch the other three bookings for two deluxe rooms. The OYO system needs updating.

We booked online through AGODA because we were in town for a friend’s wedding. At check-in, the receptionist said the app wasn’t working. The customer before us was told the same thing and ended up paying Rp220000, with the promise that AGODA would refund it after the owners sorted things out. My wife used to work at a hotel and knows how the app works, so this felt like scamming the client. We had no other choice and paid an extra Rp62000 on top of AGODA’s price of RP127824. The room was spacious, which was a plus, but the bedding was untidy and the AC didn’t work. I review hotels, shops, malls, and airlines like Emirates and QATAR, as well as cheap hotels, and this was by far my worst experience. I don’t recommend staying here unless you’re not too fussy.

The OYO rate on Agoda was completely different from what we were charged when we arrived. The hotel insisted we pay much more, so we asked Agoda for a refund.
