The Naripan Hotel by KAGUM Hotels

The hotel looks old, and the room could be safer, but the staff were so welcoming that I’d still recommend them. My room was cleaned every day without me needing to ask. The air conditioning seemed fine, the bathroom was in good shape, and the water pressure was okay. There’s a pool and massage service, too. I was upgraded on a weekday, which I really appreciated. Braga is about a 10-minute walk away. Everything was good apart from the room itself, so 4/5.

The location worked well for us, close to Braga with a grocery store right next door. The hotel itself had a lot of problems: the toilet, pool, bedsheets, and other room amenities were dirty, and both the toilet and sink smelled bad. The floor was damaged, there was no iron, and breakfast was limited, with the same choices each day.

We came to Bandung for the first time with our family over the weekend, hoping to make some good memories. Instead, the stay was really disappointing, and the smell in the room and dirty toilet made it uncomfortable. Cigarette smoke kept coming into our room, even while we were sleeping with our babies there. We also had no iron, and the kettle was so dirty we couldn’t use it to heat water for the babies. Given the hotel’s central location, it’s a shame the facilities aren’t kept up to basic standards. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves things for future guests.

It’s cheap, but I don’t think it’s worth the price. I’d rather pay another 100k a night for a better hotel. The toilet floor somehow flooded, and rainwater leaked through the roof into the inner lobby. Don’t trust the room photos on Traveloka.
