The staff really made the stay for me. They were friendly, helped carry my bags upstairs, and came across as well trained, from the way they talked to their housekeeping manners. The rooms and reception are on the second floor, with no elevator, so be ready for the stairs. The hotel sits in a small shared hub with a restaurant, barbers, and beauty studio. Parking is tight, with only about 6-9 spaces total. Arriving before 10 PM can be a hassle, though it clears out after that. The location is handy for the city centre, and the room is modern and cozy, with a smart TV and working AC. It is very small, though, with just enough space to open a 32-inch suitcase. The bathroom is tiny, and the floor gets wet after a shower. Water pressure was unreliable, sometimes only a trickle, and it stopped altogether while I was showering. Maybe the tank ran dry or the pump struggles when everyone is using water. For the price, I’d give it 4/5. The service is worth it, as long as you’re prepared for a squeeze and a temperamental shower.

The service was excellent during my one night here, and at 300k IDR I thought it was decent. The morning atmosphere was lovely, especially in rainy season, with pleasant decor, lamps, and semi-outdoor seating. They lock the gate after 10 PM, but security can let you in. It’s a budget motel that works for backpackers, though the rooms are very small and upstairs on the second floor with no lift. Best not to bring big luggage. It reminded me of a two-storey American motel. The room itself was decent, with a traditional key lock rather than a digital one. I noticed a small stain on the sheets. The bathroom is small, and hot water takes 1-2 mins to come through. There’s a small fridge, some free snacks, and decent WiFi. No breakfast is provided, but you can find something nearby in the morning or get bread and coffee from the small cafe. The TV has Netflix and YouTube but no channels, so I ended up playing Zizek's lectures to fall asleep, lol.

The room’s small, but it’s enough for a short stay. The staff were really friendly, and the location is lovely, right next to a kopitiam. I’ve liked it so far.
