ZEN Rooms Pesantren Wetan Pajajaran

I enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere here. It's away from the main street, so it tends to be peaceful and works well for hanging out. The food was tasty and genuinely good, with pork dishes and steaks I enjoyed. Dinner has a good range of options, and they serve beer too. Prices are a little above average, but the food felt worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful, service was good, and the food arrived quickly and was high quality. The place has improved since I visited a few months ago.

The cafe has a nice atmosphere, and the waiters were good with service. The pork ribs were tasty and tender enough to chew easily. The crispy pork belly, though, was a mistake for us: far too crunchy to cut, and the serving was small compared with another restaurant. We left some food behind, called the cafe, and their hotel downstairs kept it for us until we returned a few hours later. That was nice service!

My favorite part was 7grams coffee, with a nice latte, cozy sofas, and calming music. I'd like to stay again, but would ask for a lower-floor room. We were on the third floor, and having no lift made going downstairs a struggle each time. I understand an elevator would be a major expense given the complex structure, but maybe the hotel could consider it. The room and overall atmosphere are nice. I had no complaints about the room, service, or location: the room was compact and simple but suited my needs, and Grab and GoFood could find us easily. When ants swarmed our room, staff changed the sheets quickly. That's understandable with big trees around the hotel and lots of small plants.

Our three-person room was tiny, just 2x3 m, with a 1x1.5 m bathroom. There was no headboard, and the small window looked onto the neighboring wall. The bedsheet had a stain, the towel was very old, and there were hairs in the bathroom.
