Nuwis Hotel & Convention

I enjoyed the pool, the plants, and the park. The room was clean, and the receptionists were friendly. The rates seemed normal, and the location is handy for nearby attractions like the tofu factory and food spots.

We booked a superior cottage room, which was spacious and had its own garage. When we arrived around 6:45 PM, check-in was quick, and instead of a welcome drink they gave us a whole afternoon snack set with assorted cakes, tea, and coffee. The kroket was delicious 😊 Nuwis is an old but well-kept, very clean 3-star hotel in Bandungan, and everyone on staff was friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including local pecel and jamu. There was no cereal for my youngest son, which was a shame, but the kwetiaw was really delicious 👍 The pool was clean too. Check-out at 1 PM was another surprise, and it gave our children time to rest after swimming 😁😁 The one letdown was the TV selection. They should add more channels so travelers can watch more than a few local stations 😅 We had a great stay, and the rating on other travel sites like Trav*lok* or Tik*et.c*m is excellent. If you're visiting Bamdungan, you should stay at Nuwis.

Guests have to take the stairs because there's no lift, which could make things difficult for older people. They should add one. The hotel includes three free vouchers for breakfast, tea time, and dinner. The facilities are okay, and I think the hotel is pretty great.

I stayed here as a child, and it's nice to see that the place has been upgraded. But when I asked the receptionist about room prices, they seemed annoyed. One employee also blocked the restroom door and told me I had to pay 20K to use it, which could be exchanged for a drink at the cafe. That felt really impolite and put me off staying here again. I hope they improve their service and manners.
