The house is a bit far from most places, but our host helped us rent a scooter and had it delivered, so getting around was easy. We loved the setting, and everything was clean. The host was kind and helped with whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with Indonesian fried rice or noodles, eggs and sausage, or pancakes to choose from. The massage was wonderful and came to the house for 150 IDR, and we enjoyed the floating breakfast too, also 150 IDR. In the mornings, monkeys came by and were very friendly. A couple of kittens visited our terrace to play, which we loved. It was beautiful, and we had such a lovely time. Thank you!🥰

The hotel is a lovely place to escape the city, especially if you want some peace and quiet. I went to Bali on my own and enjoyed the whole experience. Waking up to the sunrise in the middle of the forest, with a private pool and a beautiful view, was wonderful 😍. The staff were very kind and attentive. My only negative was that there wasn’t much choice for the main meal. I really loved my stay.

I left after just an hour, thankfully with a free cancellation. The area felt abandoned, and the pool was dirty with poor water circulation. Nearby, you could hear people shouting at chained elephants, which was sad and disturbing. The photos give a very different impression from what you find: the villas are old and dirty, with peeling walls, gray curtains, a clicking air conditioner, and filthy, worn mattresses on the sunbeds. The floor was broken both in the room and on the terrace. Worst villa I’ve stayed in.

The staff really made the stay, with great service, tasty food delivered to the villa, and help arranging taxis or scooter rentals. Breakfast was included and very nice. It’s a lovely place, but the villa needs some repairs: part of the outdoor floor is broken, paint is coming off the inside walls, and a closet door is broken. These seem like easy fixes, and the place could be beautiful. The stay was good overall.

Elephants are kept nearby with chains on their feet, and you can hear their distress from the villa. It’s heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. The villa may look nice in photos, but it’s in poor shape and badly needs renovation. I wouldn’t recommend staying until serious changes are made.
