Cordia Banjarmasin

The staff were quite nice, which was one of the two good things. The other is the location inside the airport, handy for an early flight or a late arrival. But you have to pay 50K rupiah to use the back route straight to the boarding gate. Otherwise, it's a longer walk, which is ridiculous. For the price, the room is below standard. The bathroom wasn't well cleaned, the sink was yellow, there was an insect in my tissue roll, and the bathroom was small. There was no chair, and the small table was covered with drinking water and snacks you have to buy, though they do provide a free water dispenser. I also had a really long walk from the front desk to my room, past a few dark, empty spaces. The soundproofing wasn't great either: I could hear what was perhaps a call to prayer from a nearby mosque. When I tried to order food, they said only Indonesian dishes were available. It's a decent hotel for a short layover, that's it.
