For solo travelers or families passing through Banjarbaru, this is a good option. It's a simple place on the main road through the office complex, with spacious parking and a mosque nearby. Within 100 meters there are plenty of food choices, including Padang food, yellow rice, green rice, and cafes on the next street and across the road. There's also a shop next door whose owner is super friendly and loves cats. The price is very affordable, around 200,000 Rupiah. I booked online via Trip, but confirming at check-in was a little difficult since the receptionist seemed more familiar with Traveloka or Tiket. In the room there was one blanket, two pillows, two small bottles of water, a wooden table and chairs, a basic wooden wardrobe, and a TV. There’s a hot shower and toilet. No amenities are provided, but you can get them from the shop next door or from Alfa/Indo.

The shower uses solar-powered hot water, and it wasn't always available. Even so, the facilities were almost the same as a place I stayed at the day before that cost nearly twice as much. For the price, this exceeded my expectations.
