G Sign Hotel

Thanks to G'Sign Hotel Banjarmasin. For me, it's the best 4-star hotel in town.

Breakfast was the biggest letdown for the room price. It was below average. I also expected a smart TV with more movie channels, since the one in the room felt old compared with the design. For what it offered, the hotel didn't feel like good value, and the bathroom was standard.

The location is a bit out of the way, with no food stalls nearby, and the mosquitoes seem to love it there. The room was standard, though it could be better. The pool water was dirty and oily, so it needs better hygiene and filtration.

The location on the main road is the one thing going for it. The bedroom was small and smelled bad, with a brownish-red stain on the undersheet. There was just one pillow per bed, no sandals, and no coffee, tea, or kettle in the room. You have to ask for soap and shampoo for the next day, and the towels were damp. They even charge extra if you ask for another pillow or blanket, which is ridiculous for a 4-star hotel with an extremely small pool. Breakfast was just okay on the first day, then awful on the second. It was cheap nuggets and sausages, plus spaghetti with curry chicken that was raw in the middle. Imagine serving that to guests 🙄 This was our first and last stay here. I'd choose the hotel next door.
