I booked three nights but, because of a personal matter, had to rush home after one horrible night. The room wasn't soundproof at all. I could hear people talking, singing, laughing, and moving furniture for most of the evening, which kept disturbing my sleep. The sheets also seemed unclean or improperly washed. I can't really judge the food, though the fried banana snack I tried made me think the price and taste might not be much better. Maybe it used to be a decent hotel.

I’d rate the value for quality 3/5. The location near Duta Mall and Ulin Hospital seems to be what the price is for. The room felt old, and both toilets smelled in my room and the one with the connecting door. Checking out in the morning also took a while.
10/10
I picked this hotel mainly because it’s just seconds from Duta Mall, the biggest, and only, mall in Banjarmasin. The room was standard, clean, and fairly comfortable, though I missed having a small refrigerator. Breakfast surprised me in a good way: the menu was ordinary, but the food tasted great. I did miss having a pool, but I could walk to Mercure hotel via Duta Mall and pay the pool entrance fee to use its quite large pool.

This is an old three-star hotel, but the facilities feel downgraded to two-star or maybe motel level. Some rooms have no windows, so check before you book if having one matters to you.
8/10
The food was good, and the room was clean enough, though it looked old. The air conditioner was noisy.
