The receptionist was unfriendly, and there were lots of alcohol bottles at the check-in desk. The place smelled of alcohol too. I booked through Trvlka and paid the full amount by credit card, but was then told to pay all over again in cash, with the claim that my card limit would be restored. That turned out to be a hoax, and the card charge still appeared on the bill the following month. I ended up paying twice, and the hotel showed no intention of taking responsibility. This happened two years ago, but it has made me careful about this sort of thing in the future.

The bed and chairs had a musty smell, and all the mirrors were dirty. The room seemed like it had not been looked after. The AC remote did not work, there was no WiFi and the network was slow, and the TV would not turn on. They also provided no toiletries.

The location has a lot going for it, which makes the state of the hotel a shame. It just isn't adequate as a place to stay. If another hotel is available, I think it would be better to pick that one.

The app still showed the hotel as open, so I came all the way there by GoCar after a hard trip. When I arrived, though, it was closed.
