Tiara Guest House by OYO Rooms

Nothing seemed to get fixed, even after I changed rooms twice. First the sink was leaking. In the second room, the small sink and showerhead were broken, and in the third, the toilet spray hose leaked. I eventually gave up. The facilities are poorly maintained.

The location is right in the city, close to the center, and convenient for getting around in every direction. The surroundings feel safe and comfortable. My standard room was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh, with hot water in the bathroom. It was a good place to rest, and the service was quite satisfactory. Five stars from me.

For a guesthouse at this price, the rooms and especially the bathrooms need more attention to cleanliness. The sheets, mattress covers, and blankets should be fresh for each new guest. Dust needs wiping from the rooms, cupboards, tables, and furniture. The bathroom was very dirty and mossy, and the AC wasn’t cold. The place is nice, and guests can be happy with a high price if cleanliness and basic amenities match it. Hope things improve and the place does well in the future, amen.

I stayed for three days and paid 180,000 per night after negotiating with the boss, plus a 90,000 deposit that was returned at checkout. Prices on the phone app weren’t accurate, and Sunday rates differed from other days. I got a spacious, clean room without a window since the other rooms were already occupied. The squat toilet was clean, the shower had hot water, and soap and shampoo were included. There were two free bottles of drink each day, a TV, a sofa chair, cold AC, and free Wi-Fi. It felt like a comfortable hotel, and the service was friendly. Good for families. I’d like to stay again, and hope the boss might give me a discount if he reads this 🙂
