For 235k including breakfast, it wasn't too expensive, and the bedroom and service were okay. The guest house is in the middle of the city, but you have to turn into an alley to get there, so it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention haha. My main complaints were the bedroom smell and a broken water heater. I'd recommend it if you just need somewhere to rest for a few hours.

The lady at reception was very nice, and the room was clean. But there was no hot water, the shower hose was broken, and there was no engineering staff. For the price, not being able to take a decent warm shower was VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! You can hear people walking outside the room clearly. It's also close to mosque loudspeakers, though that's all over jawa.

The owner was really helpful and accommodating. I needed a short transit stay, and even though I messaged Ibuk at 9 pm, they were able to arrange it. The room was clean, and I thought the solar lights in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. I'd like to come back next time I'm in Banyuwangi.

A clean new budget hotel with kind, helpful staff. They even helped us get an early breakfast. The price is good, and if you're coming as a group, you can ask about a special discount. Since it's in the middle of a residential area, clear directions would help. A water heater is the one thing they should add. 😊

I've been here three times now, and the staff at Eston guesthouse are always friendly and kind. We pay 275 k for a relaxed room with good facilities, a comfy bedset, ac, tv, and hot shower. Once they realized we were regular customers, they gave us a discount, so it was just 250 k, lol. You can also check in anytime, even before 10am, for the same price. Ohh, how could we not love this guesthouse?
