Homestay Nurbani Banyuwangi

Homestay Nurbani felt quiet and homey, despite what I'd read in Google reviews about noise. The caretakers were very friendly and greeted us whenever we crossed paths. My room was very clean and had a water heater, and the price was budget-friendly for the value. This is an honest review from someone visiting Banyuwangi from Yogyakarta for a vacation. I had booked ahead, but on arrival I was told the place was full and was sent to a different homestay that wasn't what I'd booked. If you can't manage bookings properly, I suggest not listing on this app. Such a letdown when all I wanted was to rest, and the service was poor.

The place is close to everything, and the rooms are tidy and clean. There’s a kitchen, a roomy backyard garden, and a dining table where you can hang out at night. The guards were kind and friendly 🙏😊

At 80,000 rupiah a night for a twin room with the promo, it's a great deal. I expected a fan, but the room actually had air conditioning, and the toilet was inside the room. The water heater and toilet both worked well. The location is right in the middle of town, which is convenient. The main downside was the receptionist, who was rarely at the desk and hard to find when I needed something, haha.
